Making Dig VR | Part Two: Under Construction
Just Add Water first set out to develop DIG VR, after Leo, Wired Productions MD approached them with a pitch. The mission was clear from the beginning: create a truly immersive, heavy machinery simulator that would capture the thrill of working on an digger but with humour and a bucket load of personality. They knew taking that dream from a concept to a playable virtual reality experience on Meta Quest required creativity, persistence, and a dedicated team willing to dig deep into every detail of the game.
Here’s a look at Just Add Water’s journey in developing the game – from the early test footage to the job locations you’ll soon experience.
