What is AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1?
FSR 2.1 is an enhanced upscaling algorithm used to and is designed to deliver similar or better than native image quality whilst improving frame rate on supported hardware.
This allows higher resolutions or next-generation effects (such as ray tracing) to be enabled to improve visual quality across the board in supported titles – without sacrificing framerate whilst maintaining a playable experience and enhancing certain visual aspects such as fine edges and detail over distance.
What is Intel Xe Super Sampling?
Intel Xess is similar to AMD’s FSR and Nvidia’s DLSS upscaling solutions – with the benefit of supporting a broader range of GPUs across the board.
