Gori – PlayStation & Xbox patch 1.0.112


Hey Gori Fans,

Thank you so much for the overwhelming support on the recent launch of Gori: Cuddly Carnage, we really appreciate every review and piece of feedback we received over the last 2 weeks!

We are pushing a patch live now which includes a dozens bug fixes and quality of life improvements for Xbox and PlayStation, please find the change list below:

Xbox patch notes 1.0.112

  • Added active combat area to challenge in level 3 and 5. Will prevent ragdolling enemies to fly out and get stuck out of reach
  • Lock in level 2 laser ceiling bug fixed
  • Lock in level 3 room with big door fixed
  • Photomode UI no longer comes back instantly, but gives player more time with their shot before UI comes back
  • Photomode gamma is no longer known as “None”
  • Lock in level 3 left room second combat fixed
  • Lock in level 6 when dying in rising slime fixed
  • Reduced amount of button presses when shocked
  • Slime corn knocked out time increased
  • Doors in level 3 opens when supposed to
  • Lock in level 5 when restarting from checkpoint or dying in combat fixed
  • Added extra checkpoint in level 5
  • Music now unmutes after going to main menu after death
  • A hole in level 1 – bubble shield intro area – has been covered
  • Cosmetic “Fire” eyes pupil vanishing in cut scenes now fixed
  • Camera no longer locks after viewing comic book flashback
  • The word Gori changed spelling in Japanese
  • Changing option with mouse will now apply the option correct
  • Motion blur now applies correctly after loading screen
  • Inverted look input now applies correctly after loading screen
  • Player is no longer able to lock in supershot aim mode anymore
  • Player is no longer able to unpause game with controller if game doesn’t have focus
  • Motion blur won’t apply until the player is applying changes
  • Fixed stutters and FPS drops on Xbox Series S and Xbox One X
  • “9 lives are for pussy cats” achievement now counts all deaths correct
  • Extra life no longer counts in the achievement “Shopaholic”
  • Shooting the eyes too quick in level 5 boss will no longer lock
  • Crash when grinding level 2 boss legs have now been fixed
  • Fixed checkpoint saving on top of cat tower in level 7
  • Upgrades and cosmetics now saves when exiting toybooth
  • Crash in level 1 boss from faulty level stream fixed
  • Hole in collision on door behind level 1 boss fixed
  • Collision on giant robot has been fixed
  • Level 4 tunnel slicing piece now has added collision to avoid player falling out
  • Level 2 laser ceiling combat how always continues after all enemies are defeated
  • Level 5 broken tunnel ceiling now has collision
  • Fixed collision issues in several parts of the CH1-P ship
  • Several cosmetic issues fixed throughout all levels
  • Ladybug will now continue charging towards player at all times
  • Enemies will now always die during end cutscene of boss level 2
  • Added scroll hint for controller in character viewer menu
  • Changed text “photo filters” to “photo mode filters”
  • Added new spawn point in final stage of level 2 boss
  • Player will no longer fall through floor when doing a finisher on stairs
  • Pressing triggers will no longer let player skip cutscenes
  • Fixed issue where cutscenes auto skipped sometimes
  • Double jump above water no longer breaks gravity or other player settings
  • Carnival freak is more stable when changing between stages
  • Fixed Crash When Skipping Level 6 Ending Cutscenes
  • Added up and down movement in Photomode UI
  • Got rid of crashes during some cutscenes
  • Updated Credits
  • Starting Aim just before cutscene no longer enables Grenadeshot
  • Player is no longer able to jump up and end up on the wrong side of hatches in level 6
  • Fixed subsurface scattering issues on xbox one
  • Preventing player to get locked outside of the Diamond Dungeon arcade machine
  • Low health warning effects now resets when loading new level
  • Pickup of RDY clothing now registers everytime
  • FRANK can no longer leave the playing session for a cup of coffee
  • Fixed Crash In Tutorials
  • Fixed player movement locked after finisher
  • No longer able to get random spawnpoint in start of level 8
  • No more double Gori in when returning to CHIP in the middle of a cutscene
  • Text now doesn’t cut off text if text is too long in character introductions
  • Ladybug boss now starts at correct stage, preventing blocks in level 3
  • Fixed bug where combat doesn’t end sometimes
  • Fixed wrong gamma in cutscenes
  • Cosmetic change to level 2 to clarify certain objectives

PlayStation patch notes 1.0.112

  • Fixed Crash In Tutorials
  • Fixed player movement locked after finisher
  • No longer able to get random spawn point in start of level 8
  • No more double Gori in when returning to CHIP in the middle of a cutscene
  • Text now doesn’t cut off text if text is too long in character introductions
  • Ladybug boss now starts at correct stage, preventing blocks in level 3
